WANCIDE-ZPT fungicide and algaecide offers highly effective, broad-spectrum protection against degradation, discoloration and defacement caused by mold, mildew, and algae. It has a unique chemistry and is widely used in the world.

Applications and Use Levels :

WANCIDE-ZPT is used primarily as a dry-film mildew protector for marine paint. Other applications include plastic, adhesives, metalworking fluids. It should be incorporated into water-based or solvent-based formulations at early stage of production. The product exhibits good stability with ionic surfactants and emulsifiers. Recommended use levels are between 0.2 – 1.0% based on the wet formulation weight. For marine coating, it is recommended 3-10%.

It may gel the paint formulations, so testing on compatibility is necessary.

WANCIDE-ZPT is a hazardous substance in the sense of the transport regulation in US standard.
