WANCIDE MIT

-Broad spectrum preservatives-

WANCIDE MIT are formulations of  Methylisothiazolinone (MIT). WANCIDE MIT biocides meet the highest purity standards. Impurities are often the cause of undesired side effects in terms of toxicological or technical properties. Also the efficacy can be influenced by impurities. These are reduced to a minimum in WANCIDE MIT.

Applications and Use Levels:

WANCIDE MIT prevents the microbial degradation of products and the resulting damages like:

- phase separation

- odor build up

- gas build up

- changes in viscosity

- build up of health threatening toxins

Application:

WANCIDE MIT is highly suitable for the preservation of a wide variety of aqueous products due to its good properties. Experience shows that compatibility with most products and raw materials is excellent, but we recommend to test the compatibility in individual formulations.

WANCIDE MIT 10 contains 10 % active ingredient

WANCIDE MIT 20 contains 20 % active ingredient

WANCIDE MIT 50 contains 50 % active ingredient

Under normal use patterns, the following concentrations are sufficient in most applications:

WANCIDE MIT 10 0,1 – 0,3 % as bactericide, 0,2 – 0,4 % as fungicide

WANCIDE MIT 20 0,05 – 0,15 % as bactericide, 0,1 – 0,2 % as fungicide

WANCIDE™ MIT 50 0,02 – 0,06 % as bactericide, 0,04 – 0,08 % as fungicide
